And on the cover it's Kaname and Zero standing together as if they decided something on their whole situation, and Zero shows Yuuki a bullet. It's like - it's all over Yuuki, go to hell! I don't know, it seemed very funny for me. But now as being put together with that picture (see the link above) I begin to wonder if this bullet represent their connection, you know...
Let's go from the beginning.
Hunters ansectors ate one of the vampires ansector and they got their powers that way.
We don't know who that ansector was, but.
Kaname when confronting Zero on the Moonlight dorm roof, said to Bloody rose: "If you're awoken that much, then you must recognize my blood". And the Bloody rose listened to him.
There was theory that the ansector who was eaten by hunters was Yuuki in her previous life. I don't like that theory sooo muuuuch!!!! Really. But I admit that can be true, also taking into account chapter 62.
On the other hand... in the fanbook we were given information about Shizuka Hiou's powers, and it was an ability to make weapons out of plants. Shizuka's dead and she never showed her abilities, so what for was that said? Maybe the abilities of ex-humans depend on the abilities of the pureblood who turned them?

But, shizuka was already old when she died, so maybe it happend really far in time?

Date: 2010-07-21 07:45 pm (UTC)So I don't think that Shizuka was an ansector. I think that the power of the Bloody rose comes either from the ansector that was eaten or from Shizuka, which makes this whole case a bit different then.
More facts.
The Kurans is the family that is also known for being able to subdue vampire weapon. I think that's another one argument for the Kurans ansector being eaten.
The Bloody rose was given to Zero by Kaienn Cross. Who knows why did he give him exactly this thing? He knew Zero was turned, he knew who it was who turned him, and I'm sure he knew of her abilities too. But he could know much more than just that, too.
Now, one more question. Did Kaienn Cross know of the ansector that was eaten? xD
